I have returned to the land of blogs and find I am shut out of my niece's blogsite. The message says something about by invitation only and then "you are not invited".
What did I do? what did I not do? I know I have been focused on our business and health crisis here; has my lack of communication offended her?
if anyone out there knows something about this I would appreciate your sharing it.

managing the past
I'm not sure he reads this anymore. I too have been more absent than present on this blog. But Carl's intent to wipe out his blog is, in my opinion, something he may regret.
For some crazy reason as we get older we treasure and explore our past more. Probably because we have more past than future, but also because we want to make sense of our time here.
I think there is value in keeping a record of past experiences. Just end that blog and begin a new one, but don't wipe out your own past, Carl. At any given moment we are a product of our experience to date..good and bad. Haven't you learned a great deal about yourself in those Lou years?
Archive it; print it; put it on a disc somewhere. You'll be glad you did.

My gift to you
I have discovered a sure fire way to improve one's outlook on life, lift one's spirits, and in general enhance one's mood and state of mind.
Turn off the news. Simple, huh? I was so totally outraged by the "swine flu pandemic" stories that I turned off the TV and it hasn't been on since. I'm not reading a newspaper (don't subscribe) or any paper or magazine on the net.
This is revolutionary for me. I have always been a news junkie and would have CNN on in the background. Now I have discovered the release of worry over so many things that I have no control over. I will admit, I do check the stock market numbers once in a while on my home page.
This is the best health tip I could possibly give you, folks. Try it for aa week and see what I mean.
