Bless my sister-in-law; she still checks the blog site.
I don't know what it is about facebook but I have a visceral dislike for it and cannot seem to enter into the spirit of it so I feel pretty isolated in cyberspace. What I should do is not allow myself to use anything but word and get some writing done. However, that requires long hours of uninterrupted time which doesn't happen like it does in Florida.
For those I haven;t talked to recently who may read this, Howard seems to be better now that he is on routine dialysis. It doesn't look as if he's a transplant canidate, and there is no predicting how long his heart will hold up.
Other news; I bought a new car. Wanted something smaller but didn't go too far. Got a camry hybrid..black..and it is a joy to drive. All the whistles and toys; voice activated builtin bluetooth, GPS system, leather, moon roof.
Erich was here for a weekend to see Howard; it was nice to visit with him by himself.
I am flying there first weekend in June and am anxious to see the girls.
I had my appt. with PD doc at Rush last week; she upped my meds because of my balance problems, which is kind of depressing befause everytime they increase your dose you know that means the disease is progressing.
That's it for the good news....Charlene

Anybody out t here?
I have no idea if this is going to wind up just floating in cyberspace, but several people asked me why no more blogs so this is for them.
I gave up on the blogging when I got no feedback. Apparently, no one blogs anymore because they are too busy telling us they are on facebook. And yes, I tried it but it seemed so pointless to me. A lot of small talk, and I'd rather do that face to face with a glass of wine.
The advantage of blogging seems to me (this won't be a good example) is that you tend to go more into detail and address serious issues that you would only talk about with family and good friends. Facebook seems like chatter that you wouldn;t want anyone to judge you by. Maybe I have misread it, but that's my humble opinion.
So for those select few who are interested I will revive this poor puppy and try to keep you posted on a regular basis.
